Regards
sur la francophonie

For many French youngsters descended from immigration, to live being a french speaker means living a paradoxe. Born by the right of soil, they are odds with being French citizens. Nevertheless, they do cultivate French language : they make it evolve to express better their disappointement or to cry out their hatred of a society who marginalizes them, to chant better their nostalgia for the country of origin. This country has been imagined, often idealized, still, it's dear to their heart. And this rap music, to tell about all that suffering. They say it in a mixture of novel language and slang.
